OSFP PAM4 800GBASE-DR8 Optical Transceiver Module Arista Networks Compatible (SMF, 1310nm, 500m, Dual MTP/MPO-12 APC, DOM, Closed Finned Top)
The OSFP 800GBASE-DR8 optical transceiver module is designed for 800GBASE Ethernet throughput up to 500m over OS2 single-mode fiber (SMF) using 1310nm wavelength via dual MTP/MPO-12 APC connectors. This transceiver complies with IEEE 802.3ck, IEEE 802.3cu and OSFP MSA standards. The integrated digital diagnostic monitoring (DDM) system provides access to real-time operating parameters.
Dual Port Closed Finned Top OSFP Transceiver is used in air-cooled Ethernet switches. Featuring low latency, low power, and high reliability, it can be used uplink in spine-leaf architectures for switch-to-switch applications, downlink for top-of-rack switch connections to Ethernet network adapters, and/or to BlueField-3 DPUs in compute servers and storage subsystems. It is the ideal solution for HPC computing, AI and cloud data centers.
Note: This « Closed Finned Top » refers to a closed top design, which uses a finned top but with a cover over the fins creating a closed channel for additional cooling. It is designed to support both airflow cooling and liquid-cooled environments, providing enhanced mechanical protection and thermal compatibility in high-density systems.
