NVIDIA/Mellanox MMA4Z00-NS Compatible 800GBASE-SR8 OSFP PAM4 Optical Transceiver Module (MMF, 850nm, 50m, Dual MTP/MPO-12 APC, DOM, Finned Top)
The 800GBASE-SR8 OSFP optical transceiver module is designed for 800GBASE Ethernet throughput up to 50m link length over OM4 multimode fiber (MMF) using 850nm wavelength via dual MTP/MPO-12 APC connectors. This transceiver complies with IEEE 802.3ck, OSFP MSA standards. The integrated digital diagnostic monitoring (DDM) system provides access to real-time operating parameters.
The dual-port Finned-Top OSFP transceiver is used in air-cooled Ethernet switches. Featuring low latency, low power consumption, and high reliability, it can be used uplink in spine-leaf architectures for switch-to-switch applications, downlink for top-of-rack switch connections to Ethernet network adapters, and/or to BlueField-3 DPUs in compute servers and storage subsystems. It is the ideal solution for HPC computing, AI and cloud data centers.
