  • The NVIDIA/Mellanox MFA7U10-H030 is a 400Gb/s dual-port OSFP to 2x200Gb/s dual-port QSFP56 InfiniBand HDR active optical splitter cable. Utilizing OSFP (Octal Small Formfactor Pluggable) and QSFP56 (Quad Small Form Factor Pluggable) connectors, this configuration contains eight high-speed electrical copper pairs, each operating at data rates up to 50Gb/s. This cable complies with OSFP Rev. standards. 5.0 and IEEE 802.3cd.
  • AOCs can increase bandwidth, port density and configurability at low cost, and reduce power requirements in data centers, widely used in clouds and supercomputers. Additionally, AOC cables are widely used to connect NVIDIA GPU-based systems to InfiniBand networks and InfiniBand storage fabrics.
  • AOC cables offer a low cost, high value proposition and increased reliability compared to connectorized transceivers. They are lighter, more flexible, allow better airflow and support longer distances than DAC cables.
