Ai-je besoin de PoE à la maison ?

PoE est utile si vous alimentez directement des caméras IP, points d’accès Wi-Fi, ou téléphones VoIP. Pour TV / PC / console / NAS, PoE n’apporte rien.

Combien de ports me faut-il (2/8/16) ?

2 ports : 1–2 équipements. 8 ports : la plupart des maisons (TV, console, PC, NAS, AP). 16 ports : maison très équipée (caméras, AP multiples, domotique, NAS).

1G, 2.5G ou 10G : à quel moment ça vaut le coup ?

1G suffit pour internet standard. 2.5G/10G devient pertinent avec NAS, transferts lourds, Wi-Fi 7, multi-utilisateurs, ou box type Freebox Ultra / Livebox 6.

Faut-il des modules SFP ?

Sur la solution convertisseur “sans SFP”, les modules sont intégrés. Sur les solutions switch (SFP/SFP+), certains modèles nécessitent des modules selon architecture. C’est justement l’intérêt du module “sélection en 30 secondes”.

Quel câble fibre choisir : intérieur, extérieur, acier blindé ?

Intérieur : câble standard. Extérieur : gaine adaptée. Acier blindé : maximum de protection si conduits agressifs / zones à risque.

Ces solutions sont-elles compatibles avec ma box (Freebox, Livebox, SFR Box) ?

Oplossing 1 — Glasvezelconverter (zonder SFP)

De glasvezelconverter zet lichtsignalen om in elektrische signalen (en omgekeerd). In de praktijk zijn 2 converters voldoende om een eenvoudige glasvezelverbinding te creëren, plug-and-play, zonder SFP-modules te hoeven kopen (SFP is al geïntegreerd).

1Converter of switch: hoe weet ik zeker welke ik moet kiezen?

Als u één zone met één zone verbindt met 1–4 apparaten aan de aankomstzijde → converter. Als u meerdere zones, toekomstige uitbreiding of meerdere glasvezelverbindingen wilt → switch.

2Heb ik PoE nodig thuis?

PoE is handig als u rechtstreeks IP-camera's, Wi-Fi-toegangspunten of VoIP-telefoons voedt. Voor tv / pc / console / NAS levert PoE niets op.

3Hoeveel poorten heb ik nodig (2/8/16)?

5Zijn SFP-modules nodig?

Bij de converteroplossing "zonder SFP" zijn de modules geïntegreerd. Bij switch-oplossingen (SFP/SFP+), vereisen sommige modellen modules afhankelijk van de architectuur. Dat is precies het nut van de module "selectie in 30 seconden".

6Welke glasvezelkabel kiezen: binnen, buiten, gepantserd staal?

Binnen: standaardkabel. Buiten: aangepaste mantel. Gepantserd staal: maximale bescherming bij agressieve kabelgoten / risicozones.
